The Mediation of Sustainability Conference, Indonesia

Today, Wednesday 7th June, I was delighted to join The Mediation of Sustainability Conference, in Indonesia via Zoom.

It is always good to participate in events specifically created to engage a wide range of students from several countries around the SDGs.

It is the 5th International SDG Film Festival, focusing on sustainability issues in collaboration with the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business in Jakarta, the Asia Pacific University in Malaysia, the Coventry University Group, the American University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia, the Media Discourse Centre at De Montfort University in Leicester, the Nottingham College, and ourselves at Documentary Media Centre.

My presentation focused on the Conference theme…the relationship between the Goals and the activity of social movements. 

The social movement presented was the documentary media approach taken by the Documentary Media Centre through hosting The Parallel Lives Network.
